Global Panorama Showcase (GPS) is gearing up for its eighth edition in Nagpur. What began in 2013 as a single city event has now morphed into an eight-city event covering Nagpur, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Kochi & Pune. Growing leaps and bounds over the years, GPS has established itself as a leading event for travel & tourism interaction for tier II and III cities across India. This year, GPS is going one step further by also organizing ECO-CONNECT in Indore, Jaipur, Visakhapatnam & Guwahati penetrating further into the smaller markets.
Go Paperless With GPS 2020
One of GPS’s most interesting initiatives has been its decision to go paperless. After realising that exhibitors spent thousands on printing and transportation of all their brochures and other paper materials, they decided to take a step that would benefit the environment and the exhibitors attending the event. What was once an event with 90% paper, is now an eco-friendly E-event that is technologically advanced.

The launch of the GPS app in 2016 has continued to benefit exhibitors and attendees while also reducing the overall carbon footprint. Further, the app is one single networking platform for the industry, wherein all the exhibitors can upload their organization brochures & promotional/marketing materials. This content can further be mailed or shared on social media through the app itself.
How GPS 2020 wants to help connect the travel and tourism industry
Reaching out to tier II & tier III markets can sometimes pose a challenge. To overcome this, GPS wanted to create a platform for these very markets. Additionally, GPS wanted to improve fluid connectivity across potential regions, build brand awareness, enhance the user experience for better productivity, customer commitment & retention. GPS’s ultimate aim is to reach out to all the 36 states and union territories across India.
