BWH Hotels is focusing portfolio expansion in the Middle East for 2024 and beyond. The company will shortly open eight new hotels and one branded apartment in Saudi Arabia, with further expansion in the region potential in the near future.
Four Makkah properties, as well as the BW Signature Collection Jeddah and the Executive Residency by Best Western, Al Shafa Hotel Jeddah, have recently signed management agreements.
“As tourism continues to grow in this region, our team is taking notice,” said Wytze Van den Berg, BWH’s vice president of international operations for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. “It is critical for us to expand all parts of the brand across the chain, from value-driven products and boutique options to WorldHotels’ luxury offerings. It is an exciting time for growth in the region, and we are establishing our brand as a key driver of its hospitality expansion.”
