St. Maarten, a Dutch Caribbean Island, has launched “Travel Agent Months,” a program that will provide exclusive discounts and advantages to travel agents who are members of the International Association of Travel Agents (IATA). The program will allow advisers to take advantage of special discounts at a selection of accommodations, restaurants, retail establishments, and experiences across St. Maarten from September to November 2021.
 
Over 20 hotels on the island are offering special nightly rates ranging from $75 to $145, with additional incentives such as upgrades or onsite F&B discounts in several cases. Emilio’sOcean Lounge at Holland House and Hideaway Restaurant & Bar will offer complimentary welcome cocktails and Coffee LoungeKarakter RestaurantPineapple Pete and Rusty Parrot will offer upto 20 percent off as part of their restaurant offers.

Deals are also offered on experiences around St. Maarten from partners including Rainforest Adventures, which has the world’s steepest zip line; Caribbean Brewing Company, which launched the island’s first ever local craft beer; and tours like a sunset catamaran cruise with Pyratz, bicycle adventures with Tri-Sport, and horseback riding at Seaside Nature Park.
  
In a news release, May-Ling Chun, St. Maarten’s director of tourism, stated: “St. Maarten and its local partners are proud to extend this program to travel agents so they may better familiarize themselves with the island’s easy accessibility from many major cities, range of accommodation offerings, and variety of experiences. This three-month period is filled with accessible and attractive offerings for IATA agents to explore the island, and subsequently be able to provide their clients with unique and curated experiences through their first-hand knowledge.”
