With the opening of the Kempinski Floating Palace resort, Dubai will have achieved yet another world first.

The world’s first floating five-star resort, located on the Arabian Gulf, will open for stays in 2023 under the management of Europe’s oldest luxury hotel organisation.

Guests checking into the luxury playground’s 156 rooms and suites, as well as 12 deluxe floating Neptune villas, will arrive via speedboat transfer from one of Jumeirah Beach Road’s most private beaches.

Premium travellers may arrive in style thanks to a connected floating helipad and a marina that can accommodate up to 16 private yachts.

The Kempinski Floating Palace will be centred around a massive glass pyramid structure. First-class service, gourmet restaurants, and trendy bars are all available to guests at this five-star resort.

At the hotel, which is located offshore on Jumeirah Beach, there are also plans for multiple palm-fringed swimming pools and a high-end spa.

12 boat villas connected to the main hotel by pontoons can be hired by hotel guests who want the ultimate in floating luxury.

There will be two, three, and four-bedroom Neptune residences spread across two stories with a roof patio and a private infinity pool. There will be indoor and outdoor living spaces, as well as crew and staff rooms, with floor-to-ceiling windows ensuring guests receive the greatest overwater views.

Aston Martin, a luxury automobile manufacturer, is designing the furniture for the floating villas, the company said in November of last year.

The villas are equipped with solar panels and will feature smart technology for wastewater treatment and air filtering, all of which are designed to be ecologically friendly. They will cruise at a maximum speed of six nautical miles. If you enjoy your vacation so much that you don’t want to leave, the Neptune villas are also for sale.

Bernold Schroeder, CEO of the Kempinski Group, said, “We are delighted to be able to offer our guests in Dubai such a first experience from 2023 onwards, combining the destination’s reputation as a high-tech city with the timeless European elegance of Kempinski Hotels. The highly innovative project by Seagate Shipyard convinces not only by its high-end technology, but also through impeccable style and design.”
