The Jumeirah Group has announced the opening of Jumeirah Maldives, a new international resort that will welcome its first guests in October.

The all-villa luxury resort is nestled in the beautiful blue seas of the North Malé Atoll, and is conveniently accessible from Malé airport by speedboat or seaplane.

The relaxing interiors and panoramic architecture were designed by Miaja, a Singaporean design team that has created an elegant contemporary ethos in harmony with the natural environment.

“The Maldives is a much-loved getaway for travellers from around the world and Jumeirah Maldives is a destination that delivers on our brand promise of Stay Different. The resort offers unparalleled hospitality with a genuine flair that exceeds guest expectations, while pushing the limits of design, culinary and service expertise,” said José Silva, CEO of Jumeirah Group.

“A truly breath-taking addition to the brand’s portfolio, Jumeirah Group’s new home in the Maldives guarantees an immaculate guest experience right from the very moment they set foot in our new contemporary resort.”

The 67 beach and over-water villas at Jumeirah Maldives come in one-, two-, and three-bedroom layouts, all with breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean.

The resort’s villas are among the largest in the North Malé Atoll, with sizes ranging from 171 to 450 square metres.

Each villa has its own private infinity pool and an enormous roof-top terrace with a dedicated dining space, allowing visitors to soak in the breathtaking views while dining or relaxing with a picture-perfect movie-under-the-stars experience. The three-bedroom villas also have their own gym.

Water sports, beach volleyball, billiards, and tennis are among the activities available, as are edifying experiences such as underwater photography, planting coconut plants, and manufacturing coconut oil.
