The luxury portfolio has expanded with the addition of Anantara Palazzo Naiadi Rome Hotel, marking Anantara’s first entrance into Italy.

The hotel is located in the heart of Piazza Della Repubblica and has a fascinating architectural heritage, including original features commissioned for the Vatican by Pope Clement XI in 1705.

The building is suspended above the historical Diocletian Thermal Baths, whose foundations, pools, and mosaics are visible from the lower ground floor. The hotel also has one of the city’s largest rooftop patios, which offers spectacular views of the skyline.

This luxurious five-star property’s 238 guest rooms and suites combine old-world splendour and gracious comfort with the convenience of modern amenities. The interior style ranges from contemporary to neoclassical, offering the ideal relaxed atmosphere and location for exploring Rome’s delights. There are a variety of configurations and designs available, all with spectacular city views and spacious terraces.

The Anantara Palazzo Naiadi Rome is now undergoing its transition to the Anantara brand. Over the next few months, the full range of Anantara’s characteristics and experiences will be unveiled.

A glamorous new lobby, a bar with original Art Nouveau décor, a healthy corner, and an innovative rooftop space with unrivaled panoramic views will be revealed during the makeover, which will begin in early 2022 and continue throughout the following year.

The hotel will become one of Rome’s hotspots thanks to its diversified cuisine and innovative mixology.

Dillip Rajakarier, CEO of Minor Hotels, Anantara’s parent business, stated: “Rome is the spiritual and cultural heart of Italy and one of the most loved cities in the world.”

“We are delighted to be continuing the expansion of our luxury Anantara brand with the first property in Italy.

“Anantara Palazzo Naiadi Rome invites the discerning luxury traveller to embrace the historic charm of a vibrant city and is a fantastic addition to the Anantara portfolio in Europe.”
