Latest reports suggest that Ayodhya will be connected to Delhi via a bullet train. The Delhi-Varanasi corridor is being planned out and will connect popular spots such as Mathura, Ayodhya, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Kanpur, Agra, Jewar airport.
The bullet train will connect a number of destinations
The National High Speed Rail Corporation Ltd (NHSRCL) prepared a detailed report revealing that the train will also connect Lucknow, Etawah, Bhadohi, and Raebareli. The corridor will also cover highways, ghats, densely populated urban and rural areas, roads, and green fields. To ensure the fastest possible route for the train, laser equipment, Light Detection and Ranging Survey (LiDAR), on a helicopter for the ground survey will be used for the Delhi-Varanasi corridor.Â
LiDAR technology has so far been used in the highways sector for ground survey and finalizing alignment, and to get approximate details on the ground in the quickest possible time. LiDAR was also used for the Mumbai- Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Corridor, majorly because of its high accuracy.
