Together with five leading corporations, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has introduced the TAGTHAi Pass, a Thai digital travel pass designed to boost Thailand’s tourism industry.
AIS, TRUE, Kasikorn Bank, ThaiBev, and Dusit Thani are the companies involved.
According to a statement, the pass provided an additional sales and distribution channel to generate more options for tourist operators to earn cash by getting greater access to travellers throughout the world, while also offering travellers with a convenient tool for use in Thailand.
It was stated that TAGTHAi Pass is Thailand’s first digital pass for tourism, usable via the TAGTHAi application, which is accessible on both iOS and Android. The TAGTHAi application is a one-stop platform for tourism services in Thailand, offering travellers a travel pass, travel tips, and emergency contact service.
The TAGTHAi Pass grants access to a variety of selected tourism services, particularly those recommended by locals, such as attractions, restaurants, massage and spas, distinctive local activities, and many others.
The all-inclusive travel card provides travellers with advantages and incentives that can be redeemed by scanning the application’s unique QR code.
With the TAGTHAi Pass, tourists may enjoy sightseeing, activities, and dining in Thailand’s most popular travel destinations, including Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket, and further cities to be introduced.
