With the extension of its flight schedule through April 8, 2024, Southwest Airlines Co. is encouraging Customers to book spring break excursions.
To address seasonal travel patterns and demand, the airline offers more nonstop options for Southwest® Customers, including those travelling on peak days, when time-saving nonstop service supplements a daily schedule of connecting or same-plane service.
New Flights to the Beach for the Spring
Southwest Airlines® continues to respond to Customer demand by introducing additional international service and restoring critical seasonal routes.
Baltimore to the Beaches
Beginning March 9, 2024, the largest airline in Baltimore will offer new nonstop Saturday service between Baltimore/Washington and Belize*. Southwest will resume continuous seasonal international service on Saturdays between:
Baltimore and Grand Cayman
Baltimore and the Turks and Caicos
Baltimore and Cabo San Lucas/Los Cabos
Beginning on March 9, 2024, nonstop weekend service between Baltimore and Panama City, Florida will recommence. The airline also resumes nonstop service between Baltimore and Destin/Fort Walton Beach, Florida on select weekdays in March.
From St. Louis to the Sea
Beginning on Saturday, March 9, 2024, the term “Gateway to the West” will take on a new meaning as Southwest adds seasonal nonstop service between St. Louis and Los Cabos, Mexico*. The route will supplement the return of seasonal service between St. Louis and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, on the same day.
Beginning on March 9, the airline will resume weekend seasonal service between St. Louis and three Florida coastal locations: Palm Beach, Pensacola, and Destin/Fort Walton Beach.
Saint Louis Beginning March 7, 2024, daily continuous service between St. Louis and San Francisco will be reinstated for customers seeking a speedy route to the Bay Area of California.
Get away from Austin
Southwest now offers continuous service to the Caribbean from Austin. Southwest will begin seasonal Saturday service between Austin and San Juan, Puerto Rico, on March 9, 2024.
The route supplements seasonal uninterrupted service previously announced between:
Saturday flights from Austin to Cozumel
Saturdays and Sundays between Austin and Puerto Vallarta.
Saturdays connect Austin and Panama City, Florida.
Saturdays in Austin and Montrose (Telluride/Crested Butte), Colorado.
Southwest resumes daily uninterrupted service between Austin and Charleston, South Carolina, on March 7.
