Radisson Hotel Group, one of the largest international hotel companies in the country, has accelerated its expansion in India by signing 21 properties in 2023 under its strong portfolio of nine top brands.

The hotel group has signed the first Radisson Collection property in India, which will open in 2024. This strategic step confirms the Radisson Hotel Group’s commitment to providing its guests with outstanding experiences. Globally, Radisson Hotel Group enjoyed extraordinary growth in 2023, breaking records by adding over 30,000 keys to its international portfolio through openings and signings, representing a roughly 50% rise since the commencement of its 2018 transformation plan. For the 12th year in a row, the Radisson Blu brand remained the largest higher upmarket brand in Europe, while the Radisson brand remains the industry’s fastest-growing.

In India, the Group maintains its first-mover advantage in the country’s important pilgrim sites, with branded hotels set to open in Vrindavan and Ujjain shortly.

Radisson Collection, the luxury lifestyle brand, had an extraordinary year of signings in 2023, launching two new hotels in Hyderabad (to be open by 2026) and Srinagar (to be operational by 2024).

Radisson remains the country’s fastest-growing upscale brand, having signed ten new properties this year, with a focus on strategic expansion in tier-II and tier-III cities such as Raipur, Sonamarg, Sonipat, Vrindavan, Navi Mumbai, Dera Bassi, and Kevadia, as well as Jhansi, Ujjain, and Vizag.
