In celebration of the numerous motorsport events coming to Qatar in 2023, the World’s Best Airline, Qatar Airways, invites motorsports enthusiasts to a spectacular evening at Lusail Boulevard on Wednesday, February 22, beginning at 5:00 p.m.
In addition to a static display of an FIA World Endurance Championship hypercar, fans will be entertained with special appearances by famous Qatari rally driver Nasser Al-Attiyah, a Formula 1 (F1) Red Bull car driven by David Coulthard, a MotoGP bike driven by Dani Pedrosa, and a Red Bull drift car driven by Abdo Feghali racing down the strip.
The event will be free to the public and will include an international live music performance by a world-renowned musician, as well as other entertainment acts, activations, and a fireworks show. Attendees can park in one of the numerous car parks surrounding Lusail Boulevard, or they can use the metro.

Qatar Airways will continue to display the synergy between travel and sports, giving fans the ultimate travel experience to their favourite events, especially in Qatar.”
He added that the airline is excited to present a spectacular evening of motorsport extravaganza at the world-class Lusail Boulevard, where spectators can get up close to the action and experience the thrills and excitement of various automobiles.
Nasser Al-Attiyah, winner of the Middle East Rally Championship (MERC) 19 times and the Dakar Rally four times (2022, 2019, 2015, 2011), would drive his car during the demonstration run.
Qatar will host two F1 and MotoGP races in 2023, in addition to the Geneva International Motor Show in October and the FIA World Endurance Championship in 2024.
The Lusail International Circuit will host both MotoGP and F1 races in 2023. T he F1 Qatar Grand Prix will take place from October 6 to 8, while the MotoGP Grand Prix of Qatar will take place from November 17 to 19.
