Shanghai opens the world’s highest hotel, a magnificent structure which is the second tallest building in the world after the Burj Khalifa. The hotel is part of Chinese state-owned group called Jin Jiang International Hotels
It is the highest luxury hotel in the world, with a restaurant on the 120th floor, it also offers 24-hour butler service, 7 different types of restaurants, a pool in the 84th floor, bars, spas and other usual trappings of a top-notch hotel.The hotel has a total of 165 rooms, and high speed elevators that move at incredible speeds of 18 meters per second.
Shanghai opens the world’s highest hotel, its opening was partially delayed due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, it opened last week and has already started receiving well-heeled guests to enjoy all the high end services provided in the hotel.“On the day of our opening even the web page was overloaded with so many visitors with strong interest and they have such (a) strong will to come and experience our hotel,” said Renee Wu, sales and marketing director. “Of course this is very encouraging to all of us, but at the same time, we are committed to making sure that all our guests are well taken care of.”
The stay at the hotel does not come cheap, to celebrate its opening, the hotel is offering a “special experience rate” of 3,088 yuan ($450) a night, but prices for its 34 suites sky-rocket. A night in a “J Suite”, complete with crystal chandeliers and sauna, this Saturday costs over 67,000 yuan.
