Budget Carrier IndiGo will begin operation of its Hyderabad to Kannur flight from 25th of January next year. The airline announced on Tuesday, that they will operate daily non-stop return flights from Kannur to Hyderabad with fares that are starting at an all-inclusive price of INR 1,999.
The airline also stated that Kannur, which is the 67th destination on its network will get connectivity to major South Indian cities Bengaluru, Chennai and Hubli, alongside Hyderabad.
Speaking to the media, IndiGo’s Chief Commercial Officer, William Boulter stated:
 “Kannur will be the 67th destination on our growing network and starting operations will further strengthen the air connectivity from Northern Kerala. Indigo will operate daily-non stop flights from Kannur to Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai and Hubli.”
Furthermore, he stated that the new services being offered will benefit IndiGo customers with more flying options and also aid in boosting tourism in nearby areas like Kasaragod and Wayanad in Kerala, and Coorg in Karnataka.
IndiGo will continue to expand their network based on the requirements of both business and leisure travellers, he added.
