IHG® Hotels & Resorts, one of the world’s top hotel chains, has signed a management agreement with Satyadeo Hospitality Private Limited to transform Corbet Aamond Spa & Resort into India’s first voco hotel.
The rebranding of the new voco Jim Corbett is anticipated for July 2024. This will add 100 rooms to IHG’s premium portfolio in the country. The agreement also marks the launch of the seventh brand from IHG’s global portfolio to the Indian market.
The distinctive lifestyle brand voco provides visitors with a premium experience that combines the informality and charm of an individual hotel with the quality and reassurance of a global and recognised brand. Since its global premiere in 2018, voco has experienced quick expansion with many signings across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia (EMEAA). The signing of voco Jim Corbett represents the brand’s debut in the South West Asia region.
The new voco hotel will be situated in Jim Corbett, a major tourist destination in northern India that draws a large number of visitors. In addition to guest rooms, the hotel will offer an outdoor pool, a fitness centre, a spa, a restaurant serving all-day dining, and a bar. voco Jim Corbett’s indoor and outdoor banqueting areas will cater to the demand of business and leisure guests who wish to take use of the area’s good road connectivity with key cities in North India to organise MICE, weddings, and other events.
Located beside the well-known Dhikuli gate and a few minutes’ walk from the main market, voco Jim Corbett will have good visibility along the Kosi River and easy access to all of the area’s most popular tourist spots. The hotel’s proximity to the Pantnagar train station and airport positions it as the ideal location for both business and pleasure travellers.

IHG® presently operates 44 hotels across five brands in SWA, including Six Senses, InterContinental Properties and Resorts®, Crowne Plaza®, Holiday Inn®, Holiday Inn Resort®, and Holiday Inn Express®, and has 37 hotels scheduled to open over the next two to three years.
