The British multinational hospitality company IHG Hotels headquartered in Denham is planning and is continuing their expansion in Turkey with three properties under signing. That is InterContinental Grand Ankara, Crowne Plaza Istanbul Tuzla Viaport Marina and Holiday Inn Express Ankara Airport. These three properties adds and defines the luxury standards the IHG Hotels & Resorts have kept. These are an addition to the luxury, premium and essentials collections and has about 600 rooms.
Keeping the 25 years of tradition in Turkey the company has a vision to double their presence there in the next five years. It also strengthens and supports the development potential and growth in the market, these properties feature world-class urban and resort locations that are increasingly popular with both leisure and business guests.

They have partnership with Çelikler Holding, InterContinental Grand Ankara is set to join InterContinental Istanbul, Six Senses Kaplankaya and Six Senses Kocatas Mansions, Istanbul, as part of IHG Hotels & Resorts’ Luxury & Lifestyle collection. InterContinental Grand Ankara has 214 rooms, a swimming pool located on a terrace with a retractable roof and an all-day brasserie restaurant.
Crowne Plaza Istanbul Tuzla Viaport Marina will be located adjacent to Viaport Marina, partnering with Oversea Trade Solutions BV. The property has 259 premium rooms that offer stunning sea views from all rooms, an on-site restaurant and bar and meeting room facilities.
The Holiday Inn Express Ankara Airport is scheduled to open in 2022. The IHG Hotels are working with Asal Grup Otomotiv İnşaat Ticaret. It’s a 122 room property is located near the international airport and the first holiday inn express in Ankara. The IHG Hotels plan on taking up expansions in Turkey believing in the growth of tourism in the place and in their luxury premium rooms that attract guests.
