Hopper And Hotelbeds Enter A Into Global Distribution Partnership

Hotelbeds, a TravelTech company, has inked a new strategic partnership with Hopper to provide access to its portfolio of 300,000 hotels in 195 countries. The agreement enables Hotelbeds to continue expanding its business in the United States while opening up new markets for Hopper, the largest online travel marketplace in North America and the most downloaded travel app. According to data from the U.S. International Trade Administration, the total output of travel and tourism in 2021 was valued at $1.7 trillion.

Carlos Muoz, Chief Commercial Officer of Hotelbeds commented that this new partnership will assist the company in expanding its presence in the dynamic U.S. market. He added, “Joining forces with Hopper – the world’s fastest growing travel app – will also help us reach new client sectors, across both trade and consumer segments.”

As a participant in the global B2B travel ecosystem, Hotelbeds will enable Hopper to source more diverse inventory for its clients. The booking platforms of Hotelbeds provide quick and dependable access to properties worldwide, including those in the luxury sector and more than 37,000 eco-friendly hotels.

Hopper is a travel agency, fintech provider, and e-commerce platform that powers the Hopper app and the direct channels of its partners. The Hopper app has more than 100 million downloads and is primarily used by Gen Z and millennials; 70% of Hopper’s clients are under 35 years of age.
