Etihad Airways, the official airline of the United Arab Emirates, has announced two new direct routes, connecting Abu Dhabi with Copenhagen and Dusseldorf.
The new service, commencing in October, will utilise Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft to fly four times per week to Copenhagen and three times per week to Düsseldorf, connecting the United Arab Emirates with major cities in Europe and making the region more accessible for business and leisure travellers.
Etihad Airways CEO Antonoaldo Neves is ecstatic about the company’s new routes: “We are happy to start flying to Denmark for the first time and to expand our network in Germany to our third city, offering passengers with additional vacation alternatives and simpler connectivity between Abu Dhabi and Europe.”
The airline commented that their new flights will take off during the European winter. This is the ideal time for travellers to escape the cold and enjoy Abu Dhabi’s stunning beaches, world-class entertainment, and rich legacy. The timing is also perfect for those who wish to experience the particular charm of Europe during the winter months.
With the airlines network expanding to 66 cities, Etihad Airways can take you to even more fascinating destinations.
Copenhagen is one of Scandinavia’s most visited cities. It includes lovely canals, a vibrant café scene, and the oldest amusement park in the world, Tivoli Gardens.
With the relaunch, Etihad will provide flights to Düsseldorf, making it the third German city that travellers may fly to daily, following Frankfurt and Munich.
