The most recent flagship of the Italian firm, which began operations in March, made its first visit at Dubai Harbour Cruise Port. The Costa Group will open the city’s most cutting-edge cruise terminal in December 2021. An event was conducted on board the ship to commemorate this first stop, and local and Italian authorities were present.
Costa Toscana will provide week-long itineraries in the Arabian Gulf beginning in Dubai during the winter of 2022–2023. 13 voyages in total, from 17 December 2022 to 11 March 2023, will be offered with the “flight+cruise” package, which ensures optimum comfort by eliminating the need to bother about luggage pickup at the airport or transports to the ship.
The route will focus on the Arab Emirates and Oman up until January 14th, 2023, with extended stays—even two days and one night—in Dubai, Muscat, and Abu Dhabi. The lone overnight stop on the New Year’s Eve cruise will be in Dubai to ring in the new year in style. Qatar’s homecoming will be one of the places the ship visits between 14 January and 11 March, along with Dubai, Doha, Muscat, and Abu Dhabi.
The company provides a variety of tours to help customers see these great locations from a unique point of view. These locations combine the modernism of futuristic building with the allure of the desert and ancient traditions. For instance, a really exceptional trip in Dubai is the helicopter tour, which provides a stunning overview of this amazing metropolis. The off-road journey in the desert is another must-do activity. Visitors to Muscat can take a Dhow, a traditional wooden boat, on a trip along Oman’s coast or go on an excursion to the breathtaking Wadi Al Arbeieen canyon, which features lakes and pools of water carved out of Oman’s vibrant mountains.
Visitors to Abu Dhabi have a choice of three popular theme parks to visit: Warner Brothers World, where they can meet well-known cartoon characters, Yas Waterworld, a sizable water park with 43 attractions including slides, water games, and swimming pools. Ferrari World caters to fans of speed and racing. Alternatively, you may unwind on the secluded beach of Al Maya Island, a true paradise on earth that is only a short distance from Abu Dhabi, or you can go to the Louvre, a true marvel of modern architecture where you can view artwork from all over the world.
For golf enthusiasts, there is also the “cruise & golf” package, which combines the best of both worlds and enables players to play at some of the most stunning clubs in the Arabian Gulf while the ship is in port.
The onboard services provided by Costa Toscana will also vary depending on the location. The gastronomy offer, which was signed by Bruno Barbieri, Hélène Darroze, and Angel León, comes first. With the Destination Dishes, which are offered in the main restaurants and interpret the customs and flavours of the location that will be visited the next day, these three internationally known chefs will introduce the cruise destinations through taste. Again, each of the three menus at the Archipelago restaurants is created to study the sea being sailed through cuisine. A novel and stunning spectacle named “Essence,” which was created by drawing inspiration from the “Arabian Nights” atmospheres of the Arabian Gulf, will make its premiere as part of the on-board entertainment programme.
