The airline announced the route’s comeback during the GREAT FUTURES expo in Riyadh, a flagship event aimed at increasing economic engagement between the UK and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The route, which is available to book starting today, will begin operations on November 4, 2024, servicing the Saudi Arabian metropolis year-round from British Airways’ home base at London Heathrow.

The new flights, flown by the Boeing 787 aircraft, will increase connectivity to the Kingdom by adding a four-per-week service to the daily route between Riyadh and Heathrow Terminal 5.

British Airways’ Chief Commercial Officer, Colm Lacy, told the delegation in Riyadh’s King Abdullah Financial District, “We have a long history of connecting families, friends, and businesses in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with our home in London.” There are tremendous business potential in both countries, so we’re glad we can re-establish connectivity and enhance ties between the two kingdoms.

To mark the inauguration, British Airways is offering return prices starting at 1905 SAR in World Traveller (economy) and 16079 SAR in Club World (business class) for bookings made before June 5, 2024.
