On the Amadeus Travel Platform, travel sellers from around the globe can now book flights with Bhutan Airlines. The airline operates out of Bhutan’s only international airport in Paro, offering daily flights to Bangkok via Kolkata, India, and three weekly flights to Delhi.
This new partnership will increase Bhutan Airlines’ visibility among travel vendors worldwide, such as travel management companies, tour operators, retail travel agencies, and online travel agencies.
The airline is undergoing a digital transformation to enhance the passenger experience. It recently debuted a brand-new in-flight entertainment system that enables passengers to stream content from their own devices. Each of Bhutan Airlines’ two A319 aircraft can accommodate 126 passengers.
Bhutan Airlines’ chief executive officer, Pema N Nadik, stated, “We are excited to be in a partnership with Amadeus, which will significantly enhance the overall travel experience for our passengers. These new systems are part of our ongoing efforts to improve our services and provide our customers with the highest level of comfort and convenience.”
“We’re thrilled to welcome Bhutan Airlines to our roster. Amadeus is committed to providing our travel sellers with the broadest range of travel content so that they can assist their consumers in planning seamless door-to-door travel experiences. We are confident that the Amadeus Travel Platform will assist Bhutan Airlines in reaching more travellers with the appropriate offer, and we look forward to supporting the carrier’s growth,” says Frederic Saunier, Vice President, Airline Distribution, Asia Pacific, for Amadeus.
