Royal Caribbean International unveiled Star of the Seas, the newest addition to the best-selling Icon Class, as well as the forthcoming vacations that catered to every variety of family and adventurer. Beginning in August 2025, passengers departing from Port Canaveral (Orlando, Florida) can experience the Caribbean and the cruise line’s highest-rated private island, Perfect Day at CocoCay, The Bahamas, in an entirely new way: for seven nights. Prior to the official launch on Wednesday, December 6, Crown & Anchor Society loyalty members have exclusive access to book Star’s inaugural lineup on Royal Caribbean’s website today.
During their next iconic vacation, brave tourists can island hop in luxury in the Bahamas and eastern or western Caribbean destinations. The recently introduced vacation packages encompass picturesque destinations such as San Juan, Puerto Rico; Basseterre, St. Kitts and Nevis; Cozumel, Mexico; Philipsburg, St. Maarten; and Roatan, Honduras. Additionally, during each vacation, guests have the option of either a relaxed afternoon or an exhilarating day at Perfect Day at CocoCay. The unique private island destination of the cruise line features thirteen waterslides, the largest freshwater pool in the Caribbean and The Bahamas, and Hideaway Beach, the island’s first adults-only oasis (scheduled to open in January 2024). Hideaway Beach will feature a private beach, pools, and bars and eateries, exclusive cabanas, live music, and more.
Royal Caribbean is capitalizing on the unprecedented reception of the inaugural Icon Class ship at Port Canaveral (Orlando), Florida, two months prior to its January 2024 debut, by introducing the revolutionary combination of experiences to the port. This follows the unprecedented reception of the first Icon Class ship. Star will feature the pinnacle of each vacation experience, from a tranquil beach retreat to a theme park adventure, in eight distinct neighborhoods that are in and of themselves. These neighborhoods include Thrill Island, Chill Island, AquaDome, which is a tranquil oasis during the day and a buzzing party spot at night, and the open-air Central Park. With over 40 dining and drinking options, innovative entertainment in the cruise line’s four signature stages (air, ice, water, and theater), and a variety of activities suitable for adults, children, teens, and the entire family, each guest can create unforgettable memories in their own unique manner, every day.
The Icon Class features at Star exhilarating experiences such as the six record-breaking waterslides in Category 6 waterpark and the crown’s edge, which combines a ropes course, swim-up bar, and thrill ride. Additionally, there are seven pools designed to suit different moods and ambiances, including the swim-up bar Swim & Tonic, the adults-only retreat Cloud 17, and The Hideaway’s one-of-a-kind infinity pool suspended 135 feet above the ocean. In addition, while families can explore Star together and independently, they can remain at Surfside all day to play. The neighborhood, which is specifically designed for young families, features impact zones for all ages, specialized dining establishments, and a bar called The Lemon Post that offers separate menus for adults and children. Additionally, forthcoming announcements regarding the most recent additions to the roster of the world’s finest family vacations will incorporate novel experiences.
Royal Caribbean is expanding the revolutionary combination of every vacation, which was first introduced on Icon and continues to generate unprecedented consumer demand, with the launch of Star in Port Canaveral (Orlando). An unprecedented lineup will be unveiled at the two finest vacations in the world, Icon in Miami and Star in the greater Orlando area. These resorts represent the next audacious step in the new era of vacations and Royal Caribbean.
