The Westin London City is Marriott’s first property in the United Kingdom.
The riverfront resort, designed by British architects Dexter Moren Associates, blends meaningful wellness with contemporary fluid and sculptural design.
A total of 222 guestrooms feature brand characteristics like as a Heavenly Bed, a spa-like bathroom, and refreshing amenities, all built on the notion that a connection to nature improves wellness.
The Heavenly Spa by Westin was created with a focus on well-being in mind, with six treatment rooms and an indoor pool built around the archaeological remnants of the Huggin Hill Bathhouse below.
Riverside dining is available at two locations: wine bar Hithe + Seek, which overlooks the Thames, and all-day dining destination Mosaic, which serves a nutritious, sustainably sourced menu.
Marriott International’s senior vice president of premium brands, Jason Nuell, stated: “The Westin London City seamlessly balances London’s captivating energy with the wellness promise that Westin Hotels & Resorts is known for, providing mindful travellers a new way to experience this iconic destination.”
He added, “As the brand’s debut in the UK, we’re excited to continue expanding our portfolio, delivering industry-leading well-being experiences designed to empower a better you.”
The hotel’s 1,060 square metres of contemporary meeting and event space is centred on collaborative working areas that encourage creativity.
The hotel, which also features nine state-of-the-art residences, is owned by 4C Hotel Group and managed by hospitality management company RBH. It connects the final piece of the Thames route connecting the Embankment to the Tower of London.
