A few days ago, Vietjet restarted its domestic flight services. From June 18, 2020 it will start its flights on eight new domestic routes. The airline has begun issuing tickets for new routes.
As new services begin, the airline has announced a promotional scheme. Under the scheme, the sale of 2.5 million air tickets cost only from VND 8000 (approx. INR26) on its entire domestic flight network.
What are the new domestic routes of Vietjet?
The new domestic routes will join Hanoi with Dong Hoi (Quang Binh province); Hai Phong with Quy Nhon (Binh Dinh province); Vinh (Nghe An province) with Phu Quoc; Da Nang with Phu Quoc, Da Lat (Lam Dong province), Buon Ma Thuot (Dak Lak province), Vinh and Thanh Hoa.
After the addition of new routes, the total number of Vietjet’s domestic airline network will increase to 53 routes.
Speaking at the 2020 Ho Chi Minh City Domestic Tourism Promotion Conference on June 9, 2020, Vietjet Director of International Sales and Distribution, Jay L Lingeswara, said: “Vietnam has countless safe and attractive destinations, including well-known cities such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hue, Da Nang, Nha Trang or Phu Quoc and also recently famous destinations such as the unique cultural tourism sites of Buon Ma Thuot or beautiful beaches in Quy Nhon (Binh Dinh), the world’s largest cave complex in Phong Nha, Ke Bang (Quang Binh), etc. Together with government authorities and travel companies, Vietjet has quickly resumed all of its domestic flight network with many significant promotion programs to bring travelers back to attractive destinations across Vietnam.”
