Recently, at its Envision 2023 global partner conference, Trip.com Group showcased its vision for the future of travel. At the conference were approximately 700 industry participants from around the world.
Chairman of Trip.com Group James Liang stated in his video address, “Travel is unique. It not only promotes economic growth and development but also fulfils our intellectual needs. Trip.com Group is dedicated to enriching the travel experience while maintaining industry responsibility. We believe that travel, as a fundamental human need, has the power to inspire innovation, drive progress, and foster a greater sense of unity and understanding among people from around the world.”
Jane Sun, the chief executive officer of Trip.com Group, spoke at the conference and recapped the company’s voyage, including the initiatives and programmes implemented in support of its partners over the past three years. Over the years, Trip.com Group has actively collaborated with partners across hotels, flights, vacations, and attractions to support their efforts in serving Chinese travellers, who are among the top spenders in a number of markets. In 2019, Chinese tourists accounted for 15% of international expenditure; post-pandemic, this percentage is projected to increase dramatically.
Increasing Partner Growth on All Levels
Specifically, Trip.com Group’s strategies for collaborating with its partners to shape the travel and tourism industry’s future. Over the past few years, Trip.com Group has strengthened its technological capabilities and implemented targeted strategies in a variety of markets in an effort to connect its partners with its consumers. Among them are our series of BOSS Live livestream sessions, enhancements to our global airfare capabilities, and the introduction of our artificial intelligence travel assistant TripGenie.
