The Travel Agents Association of India [TAAI] is all set to host their 65th Annual Convention and Exhibition in Kunming, Yunnan Province of China. The three-day long TAAI event will begin on November 27th, 2018 and is said to take place at the very stunning and luxurious Intercontinental, Kunming.
The Intercontinental hotel boasts of having an advantage of residing on the banks of the exotic Dianchi Lake, offering stunning views of the flora and Fauna to its guests. Their world-class cuisines and extravagant rooms and amazing customer service make it a memorable experience.
With a history of successfully held conventions in different countries, this is the first time TAAI will be hosting in China. The decision to host TAAI’s 65th Annual Convention in China was made in an effort to bring the travel agents of both countries together.
On September 18, 2018, after signing a MoU with the Yunnan Provincial Tourism Development Commission [YPTDC], TAAI announced the venue for their 65th Convention. On the occasion, addressing the press, TAAI President Sunil Kumar R stated:
This is an initiative to promote stronger tourism prospects in Yunnan. TAAI has been working towards a stronger connect with China.
The convention will see many industry leaders coming together in an attempt to boost travel, tourism, hospitality and MICE related segments in both countries.
