Advent commences this year on December 1 for Swiss International Airlines (SWISS) through the introduction of its ‘LXmas’ campaign and a suitably festive raffle. Under the slogan “LXmas With You,” SWISS will enliven the Christmas spirit among its customers worldwide and encourage them to share in the cherished moments that the holiday season imparts.
Through SWISS’s social media channels, both roadside guests and those remaining at home will have the opportunity to win a variety of surprises, some of which will be truly magical. They will also be extended an invitation to utilize augmented reality filters on Instagram and TikTok in order to virtually explore a maximum of four SWISS Christmas worlds, thereby increasing their likelihood of winning a raffle prize.
The most notable among the numerous prizes available in SWISS’s Christmas raffle is the opportunity to transport two loved ones to Zurich via SWISS in order to collectively experience the merriment of the season at a specialized Christmas Event held at Zurich Airport. The fortunate recipients will be treated to a Christmas dinner in a truly unique location: one of the airport’s hangars beneath the wings of an aircraft.
Air and ground Christmas moments
Traveling guests of SWISS can also anticipate some unexpected holiday delights throughout the Advent season. Several SWISS flights will feature an appearance by St. Nicholas himself, who will be accompanied by his elves. Furthermore, Christmas would be incomplete without the occasional red nose. Two SWISS aircraft, the Airbus A340-300 HB-JMA and the Airbus A320-200 HB-IJJ, will don red noses in true Christmas spirit in order to spread the SWISS Christmas magic throughout the entire system.

Additionally, SWISS will observe the holiday season on the ground. Customers of all ages are cordially invited to the Christmas Village “Zürcher Wienachtsdorf” near Zurich’s Bellevue square on 2 December. There, they can enjoy the Advent season by visiting the SWISS “LXmas” stand. Additionally, guests and travelers at Zurich Airport’s Check-In 1 can don festive VR goggles and explore the future First Class cabin of the new ‘SWISS Senses’ customer experience concept.
