SFO Offers ‘San Fran-disco’: A Silent Disco For Travelers

The San Francisco International Airport (SFO), which debuted its “Quiet Airport” program in 2018 to reduce terminal noise, has announced the establishment of a Silent Disco, where travelers can dance to San Francisco-themed music using their own headphones. The “San Fran-disco” silent dance party will take place in the post-security area of Harvey Milk Terminal 1 from February 14 to March 15, 2024.

Here’s how you can join:

Go to the SFO “San Fran-disco” dance floor, located after security in Harvey Milk Terminal 1 near the Johnston & Murphy store (look for the disco ball!).

Connect the headphones to your mobile device.
Authenticate to SFO’s fast, free WiFi network: #SFO Silent Disco.

Press the Play icon.

Dance to a chosen selection of music with a San Francisco connection!

Travelers can also access the SFO Silent Disco station through flysfo.com/disco.
