Rwanda Tourism Restarts As Flights Resume From August

The Rwanda Development Board has announced that commercial flight operations will resume to the East African country from August 1st, Breaking Travel News reported. This was after domestic tourism and international charter flights resumed on June 17th.

Rwanda has established various health and safety guidelines to ensure all travelers’ well-being

All passengers, including those in transit through Rwanda, will be required to show proof of a negative Covid-19 test. It should be from a certified laboratory, taken within 72 hours of arriving in Rwanda.

A second test will be conducted upon arrival with results delivered within 24 hours. Travelers will be required to self-quarantine in designated accommodations during that time. All tourism activities have now resumed, with enhanced Covid-19 prevention measures in place.

Special tourism packages from local accommodation and tour company partners are now available in Volcanoes and Nyungwe national parks. These offers are valid until December 31st.
