The Prince’s Government has launched the Monaco Safe certification to support its economic recovery while reassuring a sense of health confidence in the midst of the global pandemic. The safe certification offers customers and visitors to the Principality of Monaco the best welcome in shops, hotels, restaurants, and other places that are open to the public in the current Covid-19 pandemic.
What is Monaco Safe certification?
The Monaco safe certification can be used by stakeholders or businesses who drive the dynamic economy and boost the Principality’s attractiveness. It is open to all encouraging them to participate in the safe recovery of the economy. It is a shared stamp of approval guaranteed by the state. With this certification, the government is looking to highlight the efforts of the business owners and their employees to ensure that their customers get the best welcome along with all safety precautions taken. This certification provides shops, hotels, restaurants and other places that are open to the public can then include the official Monaco Safe logo in their communications and also be benefitted from a high degree of visibility on the networks usually used by the State.
This scheme is operational from today and is the result of the collaboration between the Department of Health Affairs which is responsible for the cheeks carried out to confirm certification, and the Welcome Office which is the point of contact for the private sectors.
Procedure for obtaining certification
The procedure for obtaining certification is optional, free of charge, and conducted online. An online service is available for candidates to submit their applications and for them to be processed in a very short period. The certification is based on the implementation of the health care protocols currently stated in each sector which is known to everyone.
Shops, hotels, restaurants, convention centers, and all other premises that are open to the public which obtains certification can then include the official Monaco Safe logo in their communications and will benefit from a high degree of visibility on the networks generally used by the State.
