Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board has introduced the #BufferMeinSafar campaign to attract more tourists to its National Parks and wildlife sanctuaries, with all the safety guidelines in place.
Tourists are offered many activities and tour packages
The core area of the forests is closed during the monsoon months (July- September) but the buffer areas of the forest remain open for exploration. As the campaign title itself is #BufferMeinSafar, it emphasizes how Madhya Pradesh’s wildlife will offer activities in its buffer areas including Wildlife Safaris, Bird Watching, etc. One can also enjoy being amid the different hues of green cover.
MP Tourism looks confident about boosting morale and restore confidence in the sector. They are offering tour packages to the tourists, mainly focusing on safe travel, stay, and excursion for prevention during the pandemic. The board has come up with short road itineraries mainly for 2 -3 nights to make travel smooth. It also solves the boredom of a weekend from the neighboring states with all safety measures that are required at the destination.
Madhya Pradesh has numerous wildlife destinations including 6 Tiger reserves- Bandhavgarh, Kanha, Pench, Panna, Satpura and Sanjay Dubri, 11 National parks & 24 Wildlife sanctuaries such as Ratapani Wildlife Sanctuary and Chambal Ghadiyal Sanctuary.
