With an impressive scale of 212 rooms, the largest in Jammu and Kashmir region, Radisson Collection Hotel & Spa, Riverfront Srinagar, promises an unparalleled experience for our guests. With this debut, we are looking forward to many such opportunities to collaborate with the right partners and build a unique collection of iconic properties under the Radisson Collection brand in the country.”
The Radisson Collection Hotel & Spa, Riverfront Srinagar, the largest hotel in Jammu and Kashmir, has 212 spacious and well-defined rooms across five categories: premium, executive, suite, executive suite, and presidential suite. The hotel’s corners are inspired by Kashmir’s original themes and the unique geometrical star patterned ‘jali’ – a traditional lattice or screen commonly seen in Kashmiri architecture, known for its sophisticated craftsmanship and decorative appeal. These motifs are complimented by artworks illustrating the elaborate embroidery procedure used in Kashmiri shawls and carpets. Every morning, the hotel’s stately corridors are alive with the melodious sounds of morning Rabab, which is performed live, welcoming guests into a cultural immersion experience.
The hotel provides an outstanding culinary adventure, combining numerous cuisines with a mix of contemporary and classic architecture. Firdaus, one of its two F&B venues, serves Kashmiri Wazwaan, a traditional multi-course meal recognized for its intricate preparation, as well as local specialties made with age-old Kashmiri cooking traditions. The traditionally decorated interiors represent Kashmiri culture, elegantly blending the past and current with regional culinary delights.
Sapphire Lounge, a sophisticated tea and coffee lounge, serves French pastries, cakes, and a selection of teas in an exquisite setting. Guests can enjoy scented coffee and French treats while relaxing on the lovely green grass. The lounge also offers Kashmiri Kahwa, Noon Tea, and a variety of Kashmiri breads. Mehfil, a beautiful bar environment, also serves a curated range of premium spirits in a sophisticated atmosphere accented by transparent glass walls and colorful leather furnishings reminiscent of a pleasant residential living room.
Mumtaz, one of the largest pillar-less banquet halls in the Kashmir valley, spans 460m2 and is located at the hotel. Its walls are embellished with a variety of Kashmiri art forms, including ‘Mehrab’, which is typically decorated with elaborate geometric patterns, calligraphy, and floral themes. The Mumtaz Lawns, surrounded by towering Chinar trees and Srinagar’s exquisite colonial architecture, provide an idyllic setting for weddings and business functions. Zewar is an ideal setting for small meetings.
Wasim Chaya & Naseem Chaya – Managing Directors of Mushtaq Group of Hotels, said, “We are thrilled to partner with Radisson Hotel Group as we proudly unveil the first Radisson Collection in India – Radisson Collection Hotel & Spa, Riverfront Srinagar, reaffirming our belief in the Group.
