IndiGo has announced four new flights between India and Southeast Asia, including two new routes between Bhubaneshwar and Singapore and Bhubaneshwar and Bangkok, as well as the addition of a second frequency on the Bangkok-Kolkata route beginning on June 3, 2023. Due to the high demand for travel between Delhi and Singapore, IndiGo will begin operating daily direct flights between the two main tourist hubs beginning on May 25, 2023.
Vinay Malhotra, IndiGo’s Head of Global Sales, stated, “We are extremely pleased to announce new routes and additional frequencies to Singapore and Bangkok, in-line with our vision to enhance accessibility across Southeast Asia.” He added that during the summer, the demand for outbound travel from India has increased, and southeast Asian destinations remain a perennial preference among Indian tourists.
The airline is confident that, with the resurgence of international travel, these exciting options will provide people with even more travel options this summer, thereby promoting tourism and trade.
Vinay Malhotra continued, “We will continue to explore more flight options for our customers and stay true to our promise of providing courteous, hassle-free, on-time, and an affordable travel experience.”
