Canada Jetlines, a new Canadian airline, will launch its first flight from Toronto Pearson International Airport to Winnipeg on August 15, 2022.
Winnipeg, whose new slogan is “Winnipeg: Made from what’s real,” offers a vibrant metropolitan experience, boasting a diverse, multi-cultural scene with more than one hundred residing cultures and nationalities. With its bustling and corporate-driven Exchange District, downtown Winnipeg is also a cost-effective and convenient business travel destination.
The entire team at Canada Jetlines is thrilled to offer passengers a convenient route from Toronto to the beautiful city of Winnipeg beginning on August 15th, said Eddy Doyle, president and CEO of Canada Jetlines. “We are thankful to the regional community and airport for their welcoming support. We greatly look forward to our first flight to Winnipeg and intend to offer more travel options to the residents of Manitoba soon, We eagerly anticipate our first flight to Winnipeg and plan to offer additional travel options to Manitoba residents in the near future,” he added.

The airline will offer limited-time launch special fares for flights departing its hub at Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) to domestic destinations Moncton, NB (YQM) and Winnipeg, MB (YWG) (YWG).

The sale of tickets is exempt from the requirements of section 59 of the Canada Transportation Act. This exemption permits Canada Jetlines to sell airline tickets prior to receiving its licence. All prospective passengers will be informed, before making a reservation or receiving a ticket, that Canada Jetlines’ air service is subject to approval by the Canadian Transportation Agency.
