Atlantis the Palm in Dubai has recently announced that it will be offering in-resort, free COVID-19 tests. The PCR tests will be offered to guests who will be staying for five nights or longer at the resort. 

The tests offered will be convenient for international travellers to fulfill certain travel requirements

As a mandatory requirement, passengers need to take a COVID-19 PCR test that is taken not more than 96 hours before departure from Dubai to the UK, Europe, and other destinations. The printed copy of the test result needs to be submitted at check-in. This offering at the hotel will make it convenient for international travellers to get tested.

Atlantis the Palm has partnered with an authorised medical facility due to which the tests will be done in the resort itself. The results will be available within 24 hours. The hotel has advised all travellers to check the specified requirements for the country they’re travelling to.

Timothy Kelly, Executive Vice President and Managing Director, Atlantis Dubai said, “Using our on-site medical centre, the new PCR tests will help to reduce any travel inconveniences and encourage more international guests to visit Dubai’s premier entertainment destination.”

He further said that the latest initiative aligns itself with Emirates Airlines free medical cover for COVID-19 related expenses. This has been designed to boost people’s confidence to travel during the pandemic.
